Special events

The pricing of the event at Moszna Castle is carried out on the basis of the unit prices included in the Occasional Menu.

Due to the organization of many events, ect. The date of organization of the event in the castle in Moszna is agreed individually with the consultant indicated in the ”contact” tab in the section ”Organization of conferences, events, weddings”.

In order to confirm the reservation of a special event at the castle in Moszna, we ask for an advance payment of PLN 300 gross within 5 working days of making the initial reservation.

Reservations are made by the persons indicated in the ”contact” tab in the ”Organization of conferences, events, weddings” section. In order to maintain the continuity of arrangements, please contact the person making the reservation.

In the title, please write: the date of the organization of the event and the name of the person who provided their information in the initial booking process and who is responsible for all arrangements.

The advance payment is not refundable

Please confirm the menu by email one month before the event or during a meeting with the castle employee who made the reservation. Please confirm the number of people (adults, children, toddlers) up to two weeks before the party. If the confirmed number of people is greater than the number that the room can accommodate, we reserve the right to deny the possibility of holding the event.

Final billing is possible after the event and when the cost of consuming beverages is known. Settlement of the event possible only after prior consultation with the company employee with whom arrangements were made. Payment can be made at the reception desk.

We provide standard table decoration consisting of a white tablecloth and elegant napkins. All decorated in a classic white color.

Moszna Castle does not provide floral compositions. Due to the historic charter of the premises, we do not interfere with the design of the walls, windows, ceiling and the structure of the historic elements.

We have a castle parking lot located right at the entrance to the reception. Parking is for hotel guests and guests attending an event at the castle. Parking availability is largely dependent on the date of the event booking.

Depending on the maximum number of guests, one of the four representative chambers located in the castle is tailored to the client’s requirements. The specifications of the chambers, including the square footage, are available in the “For You” tab. > “Occasional Events”.

Depending on the room and its specifics, it is possible to set the tables in an intimate way, i.e. A long, oblong table or in the shape of a horseshoe.

We offer a free attraction in the form of a children’s playground in the park

An additional paid attraction is the Playroom so called. Hrabiolandia (details in the tab “For You” > “For Children” > “Moszna Castle for Children”)

Depending on the date, it is possible to visit the Chambers with a guide (discounted tickets apply according to the price list listed on the website under “Sightseeing”). Advance booking of the time and number of people is required.

We have high chairs for feeding. Chairs are supplied on the basis of the information sent to us regarding the following. Quantities of people including children under 3 years of age.

At the customer’s disposal we provide the so-called. Parent’s Room, which is located on the first floor in the passage between the Restaurant and the restrooms.

Each guest attending the event has the opportunity to go to the park free of charge. There is a fee to visit the chambers.

Conferences

Individual conference pricing is done on the basis of the submitted stay agenda and sent to the client in the form of an official quotation.

In order to confirm the reservation, we ask for a down payment, which is 30% of the total offer calculation. The advance payment must be paid within 7 working days from the moment of sending If the advance payment is not credited to the company’s bank account within the specified time, the offer and the arrangements contained therein are no longer valid.

Payment of the down payment on time is a required condition. This is the only form through which reservations are confirmed. In case of cancellation, the advance payment is non-refundable.

The room rental price includes: projector (DHMI and VGA connection), screen and flipchart. We also provide preparation of table and chair layouts according to available capacity and prior arrangements. Moszna Castle does not provide a person to operate multimedia equipment.

We have about 50 parking spaces located right at the entrance to the reception. Parking lots are for hotel guests. Availability is largely dependent on the date of the conference booking. Parking is not available for buses.

We offer a Tour of the Castle. Services require advance reservation of date, time and number of people.

The possibilities and additional costs associated with this remain to be determined on an individual basis with a castle employee.

A detailed room structure is sent to the customer with the offer. We dispose of a total of 49 rooms (127 beds). Check-in begins at 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

The final invoice is issued when all the costs of organizing the conference are known. Final settlement is made after the conference organizer speaks with a castle employee on the day of check-out. Payment can be made at the reception desk. We accept payment in cash by card or bank transfer (payment term 5 working days).

The start and end time of the event is determined with the confirmation of the menu. Events The restaurant serves events until 11:00 pm – each additional hour started over the assumed – PLN 130/hour.

The castle has a Billiard Corner, the availability of which may be limited depending on occupancy.

There is no bowling alley and wellness (spa) in the castle

Included in the bid is a summary of services with detailed gross unit prices. The offer also includes a detailed description of the services with dates and times. The summary specifies additional information or notes such as the expiration date of the offer and the date of the down payment.

All products at special events are provided exclusively by the kitchen of Moszna Castle. The exception may be cakes and rotas, which the customer can supply from an outside pastry shop. Then the customer is required to provide the castle staff with confirmation regarding the origin of the cake/cake/sweetener (details of the company from which the food came).

Weddings

The cost of organizing a wedding reception depends on the day of the week. The current price list is listed under “Offer” > “Special events” > “Weddings”.

The minimum/maximum number of guests is 70 /150 people. A minimum of 100 guests is required if the wedding is held on weekends in April, July – October.

During the wedding, the park and the castle remain open to other guests and tourists, while the Wedding Hall remains reserved only for the bride and groom from 15:00 to 03:00.

During the wedding reception, other receptions or events can be held at the castle at the same time.

The condition for booking the date of the reception is payment of a deposit within 14 days of signing the contract. Within 30 days before the date of the event, the principal must pay the second tranche of the deposit.

Pre-booking can be sustained for 7 business days. At this time a form is sent to the bride and groom, on the basis of which a contract is created. The signing of the contract involves the maintenance of the reservation and obliges the payment of a deposit(see deposit deadline)

The contract for the organization of the wedding is a mandatory document specifying the basic conditions for the organization of the reception at the Castle. The contract is drawn up by the person responsible for the organization of the Wedding in two identical copies.

All the information that the contractor needs to prepare the contract is specified in the wedding form.

The deposit is not refundable.

Please confirm the menu and number of guests up to 3 weeks before the planned party.

Moszna Castle provides the grounds but does not participate in the preparation of the ceremony. You can Castle does not provide catering services in the park and equipment such as tent, chairs and decorations.

The former chapel currently has no religious function. The village of Moszna is part of the Roman Catholic parish of St. Peter’s. The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Connector. The nearest Catholic church is located in the center of the village (500 meters from the Castle).

We prefer round tables (maximum 12 people). However, for the sake of better comfort of guests, we recommend arrangements with about 10 people at the tables.

A banquet arrangement is preferred. In order to adequately prepare the tables, we also ask you to send us a layout spreadsheet with the designation of tables with guests and children for whom our staff should prepare chairs for toddlers.

Upon request, we send you a layout with the dimensions of the room and photos.

Close to the wedding hall there is a restroom for wedding guests only (first floor, passage next to the bar).

The Parent’s Room is located in the passage to the restrooms (it is marked accordingly).

The castle has about 50 parking spaces located near the castle. Parking is for overnight guests at the castle only.

Included in the catering price are service, hall rental including preparation of standard decoration and free parking for guests on the castle grounds.

If a dance hall is rented, preparation of a place on the dance floor and a table under the mezzanine for the band is provided. In the event that the bride and groom commission additional decoration of the wedding hall Moszna Zamek charges additional fees.

In the price of the wedding reception, we provide a standard decoration for the wedding hall, consisting of: 1 small decoration and candle for each guest table, 1 large decoration for the bride and groom’s table. In case the bride and groom commission additional decoration of the wedding hall we will charge an additional fee.

With the exception of small decorations for the tables of guests and the bride and groom, we do not provide other floral decorations.

A fireworks show (fireworks) is not possible.

The number of standard beds is 127, with the possibility of expanding by 63 extra beds. The detailed structure of the rooms is sent in a separate attachment.

Settlement of accommodation is carried out on the basis of a room statement, which is provided to us by the bride and groom. All guests are charged one average price regardless of the standard of the room occupied. Settlement is made with the bride and groom on the final invoice.

Moszna Castle reserves the right to charge the bride and groom’s bill in case the guest cancels or shortens his stay in the room.

Photographer and videographer are not guaranteed.

The aforementioned guests are covered by the same fee as other wedding guests.

We do not provide a music band and equipment along with the repertoire.

It is possible for the bride and groom to invite their band, DJ or ringleader. Arrangement of the artists’ place of performance in the hall is possible only after prior consultation with a castle employee. Please also send the team’s requirements for electricity. In special cases, we reserve the right to refuse the opportunity to perform or charge an additional fee for the preparation of the venue.

Moszna Castle is making every effort to ensure that the event can continue in case of such situations. We will not charge an additional fee if power-generating equipment is used.

In a situation where the bride and groom decide to bring their own alcohol, we will charge an additional fee, called the “alcohol fee”. Cork (glass preparation) from each adult. The price is listed in the Wedding Menu.

If you order alcohol from our card, the prices sent in advance by an employee of the Castle apply. Settlement of alcohol is made according to consumption. The final price is known after the wedding is over

Children under 3 years of age receive a 100% discount (for both food and lodging).

Children between the ages of 4 and 11 years of age for boarding are subject to an approximate 30% discount (the exact round amount is regulated by contract). If sleeping on a separate bed, the child includes a 40% discount.

We start preparing the wedding hall the day before. Entrance then possible in the afternoon, by prior arrangement with a castle employee.

Tour of the chambers

It is forbidden to bring animals inside the castle

Due to the large number of stairs and places where there are constrictions, we advise against visiting with a stroller. You can leave the stroller on the first floor of the castle in a public place indicated by our staff. However, we ask that no valuables be left in the carts.

Guided tours of the castle are possible only for the tour entitled “A tour of the castle”. Daily Life of the Castle. A standard tour of the chambers is conducted with an audio system located in each room and information boards. We also recommend using the SmartGuide audio guide especially when visiting the park.

Free entrance to tour the chambers and park is available to children under 3 years old.
The Concessionary Ticket is available to children from 3 years old to 15 years old, students with a valid ID (up to 26 years old), pensioners with a valid ID, and people with disabilities.
Discounted tickets are also available to holders of the Large Family Card or the Opole Family Card.

A standard tour of the chambers takes about 60 minutes. Tour of the route “Daily Life of the Castle” about 100 minutes.

The chambers in the castle open for tours at 9:00 am. Depending on the season, the chambers close at 17:00 or 18:00.

It is possible to purchase tickets before arriving at the castle. Tickets can be reserved and purchased on the castle’s website.

Due to the large number of stairs and the intricate layout of some crossings, wheelchair accessibility is very difficult.

While visiting the castle, it is possible to photograph its interiors, however, without using flash. Filming for personal use is allowed, but please do not record guides and do not use any lights or other photographic accessories. Commercial recording is permitted, however, for a fee and by arrangement with the person indicated on the castle’s website in the “contact” section.

Every year, Moszna Castle organizes special events such as ghost tours, tours of the Adams Mansion, Santa Claus tours, tours at the School of Magic and Wizardry and many other events. Current attractions are announced on the castle’s website under the “events” tab.

Tour of the park

Visiting the park is a matter of individual choice, but according to our suggested tour on the SmartGuide app, we recommend spending about 100 minutes exploring the park.

Tours of the park are conducted individually. As an option, we encourage you to download the free SmartGuide app with the help of which it is possible to visit the park with an audio guide.

Dogs may only be brought in on a leash and muzzled. Dog guardians are obliged to remove waste left by animals. It is forbidden to bring animals inside the Castle, including into the dormitory rooms.

The current fountain operation schedule is available under the “Sightseeing” tab > “Park tours”. The fountain is completely turned off in October and turned on again in early May. We also reserve its temporary shutdown due to periodic cleaning and maintenance procedures.

The park is open to the public from 9:00 am. The paths are illuminated by lanterns, making it possible to walk even after dark.

An entrance fee is charged for the park in Moszna. The current price list can be found in the “tour” tab.

It is possible to buy tickets online. The booking panel is available on the castle’s website.

The park in Moszna contains centuries-old trees including such natural monuments as aejmutka pine and an oak. You can walk through the park via a number of paved paths that allow you to explore its rich resources. In front of the castle is a multimedia fountain that combines musical performances with water and light shows after dusk. The attraction of the park is also a field game titled “The Park. “The Mystery of Moszna Castle. The park also features a children’s playground styled like a castle.

Surrounding the castle are large expanses of lawn that will work well for this form of recreation. However, it is forbidden to hold bonfires, barbecues or various types of events in the park. The castle has its own space suitable for this and rented for a fee.

The park has paved paths on which a person in a wheelchair can walk.

The park is also open to cyclists and joggers. However, since the park in Moszna is mainly a tourist destination, where families with children often stay, we ask you to exercise maximum caution and increased attention when moving along the paths.

In the park in Moszna it is mandatory to comply with the provisions of the rules of admission to the park in the “regulations” tab on the castle website.

There is no designated parking for cars or bicycles in the park.

It is not possible to pitch a tent in the park in Moszna.

During the summer season, food outlets are open around the castle. And there is a restaurant and cafe in the castle.

Mosna castle and park are tourist sites visited by a large number of people, so out of concern for the safety of visitors, it is required to show the following documents at the reception desk: OC and license. In the absence of these documents, drone flight is impossible.

Swimming and renting boats or kayaks are not available in the Moszna park.

The park in Moszna hosts various events and festivals. Details of the events on the castle’s website under the “events” tab.

For the safety of our guests including families with children, we ask that you do not ride electric scooters, scooters or motorcycles in the park.

Flowering of azaleas in Moszna depends on weather conditions, but usually it is the last week of April. Rhododendrons bloom in May-June.

Free entrance to tour the chambers and park is available to children under 3 years old.

Dormitory rooms

The overnight stay of the castle in Moszna lasts from 15:00, until 11:00 the next day.

Moszna Castle, by virtue of its historic charter, has a wide variety of accommodations. Each room has different and unique characteristics. Rooms one has been grouped according to different standards. For details, see the “accommodations” tab.

Prices for accommodations at Moszna Castle are dynamic and depend on many factors including, but not limited to, the month, day of the week, occupancy and standard. Current price lists are available in the online accommodation booking panel on the castle’s website.

It is possible to book accommodation on the main page of the castle. Reservations can also be made through the front desk.

Accommodation rooms in Moszna Castle in many cases have carpets, antique elements or are located close to other rooms, so for the sake of keeping the rooms as clean as possible and for the comfort of other guests, dogs and other animals are not allowed in the rooms.

Parking for overnight guests at the castle is free and is located just outside the castle entrance. Entry to the parking lot is possible only for those with reservations.

The price of a night’s stay at the castle includes breakfast. This service is bundled within the price of the overnight stay and there is no possibility of negotiating the price in case of breakfast cancellation. .

Breakfast is served in the Breakfast Room also known as the Samek Room on the second floor from 8:00 to 11:00 am. All products are served buffet style.

Moszna Castle currently does not have a room fully adapted for the disabled.

There are no safes in the dormitory rooms.

It is possible to clean the room on special request of the guest.

It is possible to pay by card. The payment for the stay is settled at the reception of the castle. The castle accepts MasterCard and Visa cards.

Each hotel guest is obliged to comply with the hotel regulations. The regulations are available on the “regulations” page on the castle’s main website.

Other

Moszna Castle offers many attractions, from overnight stays as part of green schools, to large camps for children in a fantasy climate set in the wizarding world of Harry Potter. During this type of event, full board is provided, as well as plenty of anismation and attractions. Throughout the year, there is an opportunity to organize a history lesson in the castle, entitled “The History of the Castle. “Touch of History” and “School of Magic and Wizardry.” There is also a children’s playroom in the castle and a playground in the park.

This is largely dependent on the individual preferences of the tourist, and the season and availability of services. However, assume that it is about 60 minutes for sightseeing, about 100 minutes for the park. Optionally, time spent in restaurants and cafes should still be added.

The castle organizes concerts every year as part of the musical Azalea Blossom Festival or in cooperation with the Castello Theater are concerts and operetta performances. A gallery in the castle is available for an exhibition of paintings. However, the castle is not a typical art gallery or concert hall, for which activities of this type are some form of supplement to a broader offering.

Moszna Castle has a cafe and restaurant, where tables are not subject to reservation. The rule of taking a seat applies, according to the current availability of space in the hall.

There is a parent’s room on the first floor of the castle, which is equipped for this purpose.

By virtue of the fact that the building is a historic landmark, the interior layout is historically not suitable for people with disabilities. The facility has an elevator, which can only be used to reach selected lodging rooms, and there is a disabled toilet on the first floor of the castle.

The castle souvenir store is located at the reception (first floor of the castle, near the entrance).

On the first floor of the castle there are three public toilets, namely. Two in the main lobby and one assigned to the restaurant. There is no charge for using the restrooms inside the castle. Guests staying overnight have their own private toilets in their rooms (exceptions include MiniStandard rooms and multi-bedded Tourist rooms).

Depending on the availability of the date, the castle offers the possibility of organizing conferences, training courses, galas, team-building meetings, birthday parties, baptisms, communions and other anniversaries.

The castle, along with the park, is one of the most visited places in the Opolskie Voivodeship, therefore its closure is associated with losses. Exclusive rental of the castle is only possible for a fee and depends on a number of factors.
